It takes a moment to get the perspective, but the scene shows the harbor as seen
from the fore-deck of PT-171 as it took a break in the harbor at Samar,
Phillipines (? Nov-45) Along the top edge, the green ripple is the sun-canvas
that was temporarily set up on the PT boats. The green "bush" looking shape is
one of the PTs guns covered in its canvas, with a PT partly hidden behind it. In
the background appears to be a tender (USS Varuna? Or Mobjack?).
